This weekend at South Mountain YMCA camp 60 youth and chaperones joined for a spiritually enriching Spring Youth Event. The youth planning committee centered the event on the theme “I am..” taking Galatians 3:26-28 and the movie Divergent to help us discover the many qualities and personality traits that make us one in Christ.
Attendees from 11 conference churches and Bethany Children’s Home participated in workshops, worship, group bible study, and fun camp activities. Highlights include creating a collaborative art project to be used as an altar cloth, 5 different youth preachers sharing God’s message, and an energy-filled dance party!
