Mental Health & the Church
Topics include:
-Depression and Anxiety in the church
-Maintaining mental health while serving in ministry as clergy and laity
-Pastoring while living with a mental health condition– including disclosure to congregation and/or wider church staff
-Biblical and historical examples of faithful ministry with regards to mental health
-Introduction to becoming a WISE church w/ the United Church of Christ

There will be space in this presentation to think through your own strategies for mental health wellness, the ways in which your life experiences may be impacting your ministry and additional resources will be suggested for further learning and engagement.
