The program will examine our experience of time, including retrocausality, as we explore whether prayer and meditation in the timeless state, where past, present, and future are present simultaneously, can affect events that have already happened. How does meditation in the timeless state affect our experience of what unfolds subsequently over time? Is our experience after meditation deterministic, must it unfold in a certain way because we have prayed, or do we have free will, or both? This will be illustrated with examples from the metaphysical literature. We will also examine the movie trilogy “The Matrix”, which explores all of these elements in a philosophically interesting way.

He currently works in a counseling center, assisting a multi-disciplinary team with treating diagnosed medical and psychological conditions. He has been teaching an intensive 48-week certification course in hypnosis, NLP, and Mindfulness to medical and mental health professionals since 2005. He is a study group director for CSL (Centers for Spiritual Living), and teaches classical and modern metaphysics at Unity of Reading in Temple.
