Lenten Book Study Offering
From the Racial Justice Initiative Team
Tuesdays,   March 1st  –  April 5th
Choose either 3 p.m. or 7 p.m.

Please join us for another fruitful book study offered during Lent.  The book The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together , by Heather McGhee, is winner of the Porchlight Business Book Award and on the NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER list. McGhee is one of today’s most insightful and influential thinkers who offers a powerful exploration of inequality and the lesson that generations of Americans have failed to learn: Racism has a cost for everyone—not just for people of color.  Appropriate for both clergy and laity.

Attendees are asked to purchase the book and read the first two chapters prior to the first session.
