MISSIONS TODAY: HOW DID WE GET HERE FROM THERE?

Free lecture by Dr. Charles A. Maxfield

       Dr. Maxfield received his Ph.D. in Church History, with an emphasis on mission history, from Union Presbyterian Seminary, Richmond, VA.  Throughout his parish ministry he has approached each congregation as a mission station of the one universal Christian church.

The lecture will explore how our understanding of mission has evolved through the years, and will raise questions about how we do mission today.
