“The Sacred Side of the Swastika” with Alice Elle Rader

Alice was confronted with the Sacred Side of the Swastika by Wali Ali, her mentor for the Dances of Universal Peace. Wali Ali explained the movements of the Swastika honoring the Hindu God Shiva: dancer, destroyer, creator. The Hindu Swastika, he explained means GOOD LIFE.  Alice will present a musical, movement MANDALA using “Whirling Logs.”  (Navaho symbol of the Swastika). The book THE SWASTIKA – Symbol Beyond Redemption? by Steven Heller will be discussed.
