Wednesday Evenings ~ March 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5

Five-week program based on Starbuck’s “Upstanders” Series. The goal is to discuss and gain better insight into the complexities and challenges of issues that matter to us and our communities.

Our volunteers include several individuals outside our church. They are warmly welcomed, and for a few weeks, are members of our church family. We enjoy great fellowship while attending to the task at hand.

March 31 – Community Dinner @ St. Peter UCC, Knauertown

St Peter United Church of Christ, Route 23, Knauertown will hold a community dinner on Friday, Mar 31 from 5:30 to 7 pm.
The planned menu is St Patrick’s Day. The public is invited to stop in and enjoy food, fellowship and fun.

April 8 – The Sounds of Woodcrest Spring Concert @ Woodcrest UCC, Philadelphia

Woodcrest United Church of Christ will host a spring concert featuring the Woodcrest choirs and guests.
The concert will be held on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the church located at 8107 Thouron Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
The concert is free and all are welcome.

April 16 – Easter Dawn Service @ Blue Marsh Lake, Leesport

Easter Dawn Service ~ April 16th
Once again we will be sponsoring a community worship service at Blue Marsh Lake (Dry Dock Area) beginning at 6:30am.
We will have a short time of fellowship following the service. The service will include the sacrament of Holy Communion.

April 22 – The New Harmenaires Revival @ Solomon’s UCC, Perkasie

The New Harmenaires Revival will present an exciting evening of inspirational gospel music on Saturday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Solomon’s United Church of Christ, 2990 Bedminster Road (Rt. 113), Perkasie, PA, located between Center School and Kellers Church Roads near Bedminster.
There is no admission fee, but a free-will offering will be taken. The net proceeds will benefit a local charity.

April 29 – Swing Dance @ Zwingli UCC, Souderton

SWING DANCE – Come out and dance the night away on Saturday, April 29 at 8 pm at Zwingli UCC, 350 Wile Avenue Souderton.
Enjoy big band music from the 1930’s – 1950’s performed by the 17 piece dance band “The Royalaires”.
A $10 donation per person will be accepted at the door. Arrive at 7 pm for a dance lesson! www.zwingli.org

First Saturday of Month – Informal, 5-pm Church Service – Leesport

Trinity United Church of Christ, 17 N Centre Ave. ( Rt. 61) in Leesport 19533 is offering an informal church service including Holy Communion the first Saturday of each month at 5 PM. All are welcome – come as you are.

Homeless Outreach – Saturdays, November through April @ Trinity Reformed UCC, Pottstown

Join members of the Trinity UCC Pottstown Area Homeless Outreach on
Saturday’s from 8 am– 4:30 pm.
Providing a warm place for the homeless, job search activities, lunch, movies, games and fellowship.

3rd Wed of each month (Sept. thru May) – Salem Prime Timers & lunch at Salem UCC in Doylestown

Salem Prime Timers meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month, September through May at noon for lunch and entertainment at Salem UCC 186 E. Court St. Doylestown, PA 18901.
Lunch will be  sandwiches, sides, beverage and dessert. $5 per person.

Tuesday Afternoons – Sewing for a Cause @ Trinity Reformed UCC, Pottstown

Trinity Reformed UCC, 60 N. Hanover Street in Pottstown 19464 teaches low-income and homeless people how to sew on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00 – 3:00pm . If you are a sewer, and would like to share your gifts with others, please contact Barbara Cooper through the church: 610-326-2243.
