Join us for an exciting and celebratory Pentecost faith immersion experience outdoors at St. James UCC, 135 Myrtle Avenue, Havertown, on June 8th!
Open to all our communities and beyond.
9 AM Coffee and Faith on The Porch along with some music and continental breakfast foods
10:30 AM Celebratory Pentecost Worship Service outdoors on the lawn with an Old Time Gospel Tunes Hymn Sing following the service
12:00 -2 PM Outdoor BBQ and Picnic on the lawn (bring a blanket or chairs with you and find your favorite spot while you listen to the fantastic music of the Philadelphia Mandolin Orchestra!)
1 PM – 4 PM Faith Activities for the entire family. Walk the labyrinth and learn more about the history and meaning of labyrinths, join in a relaxing yoga session, join a prayer group, take part in a Pentecost Bible Study, color pictures, play games, and more.
4 PM Come inside to our Sanctuary for a Musical Concert led by musicians John Callahan and Lucy Horton
